Eithne Ryan BDS
Eithne qualified as a dentist with an honours degree from UCC in 2000. She won the undergraduate Johnson and Johnson periodontal prize in the same year.
After graduation, she worked in general practice in the UK in Essex and London for 3 years. After travelling and working in Australia, she returned to Ireland in 2003 and has since then worked in a number of practices in Dublin, Cork, Wexford and Limerick where she gained valuable experience in family dentistry and cosmetic work. Eithne enjoys the variety of general practice and remains abreast of the most up to date techniques and practices through regularly attending lectures and courses. She is a member of the Irish Dental Association.
Eithne originally hails from Timoleague and has now settled in Kinsale with her husband and two small children.
Beanda Kennedy BDS
Brenda Kennedy BDS. Qualified as a dentist from the University of Witwatersrand ( WTB) in South Africa in 1991. She then worked in general practice in the UK for 9 years before coming to Ireland in 2000. Brenda worked both for the HSE and in general practice in Ireland in Middleton, Dungarvan and Kinsale. She joined Market Dental Kinsale in 2020. Brenda lives in Harbour View with her husband Frank Kennedy Kinsale based optician and their 3 teenage children.
Sharon Gash
Sharon Gash graduated from UCC in 1997 with an Honours Degree in Economics. She continued her studies in UCC and went on to obtain a Higher Diploma in Management & Marketing in 1998. From there she spent 12 years at Giles Norman Photography as a manager. Having taken a break from her career to spend time with her young family, she then she joined the team at Market Dental in 2015 and retrained as a dental nurse. In 2022 she decided to pursue her official accreditation and returned to UCC/Cork University Dental Hospital to study for her diploma in dental nursing. She graduated in 2023 and is now a qualified registered Dental Nurse. She lives close to Oysterhaven with her husband and three children.
